Give Back to the World this Holiday Season.

So there's a new way to do business now. It seems as though it started off with Gap's (RED) campaign and now it has turned into a major business. On one hand, companies are making major money, but on the other hand, so many people around the world are being helped. There's so many mixed views to this idea that its hard to say whether this is a good or a bad thing. But some of the many possible things that are being sold now include:

  • Message Undies for Ladies that donate ten percent of the proceeds to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Foundation ($84 for seven pairs)
  • A Makeup Palate that donates to the Sustainable Acai Project to preserve the Amazon Rain Forests ($52)
  • Charming CHocolates from Target that send ALL proceeds to St. Jude's Children Research Hosiptal ($10, somewhat more reasonable)
  • Popcorn Bowls - An interesting idea that in my opinion is a little out there. Ten percent of proceeds go to the Share Some Foundation that is working to end hunger but there's one catch, the bowls cost $48 for two boowls and six bags of popcorn
  • Clarks USA's Comfy Leather Slippers that donate ten dollars to the Soul of Africa Charitable Trust
  • Boxers that send twenty percent of their proceeds to the Humane Society to protect animals ( $18 per boxer)
  • Plus many other interesting gifts as seen in the Advertisements Below:
